Molecular electronics allows the implementation of a small array of molecules as the fundamental unit for the future nano-electronic devices. In this field, the goal is to replace a wire, transistor or other basic solid-state electronic components, with a set of functional molecules that perform semiconductor nano-scale devices in an integrated circuit.

Several examples of molecular- and biological-based devices developed in my group will be presented. Among them are Bio-inspired solar-cell, Multi-peak Negative differential Resistance molecular-device and nm-sized protein transistor.
