Using an expansion of Liouville space generating functions in hbar, the factorization of multitime nonlinear response functions into products of lower-order correlation functions of collective coordinates is demonstrated.The factorization provides systematic quantum corrections for the nonlinear response functions and allows circumventing the expensive computation of stability matrices. This factorization allows a comparison between existing classical simulation strategies as mode coupling in k space, Langevin equations and instantaneous normal modes from a unified viewpoint.
