YAG Interdisciplinary PhD Projects
Each year the Young Academy Groningen is provided with three 4-year PhD Scholarship positions to develop interdisciplinary PhD projects that cross between the disciplines of Young Academy Groningen members. These positions are fully funded by the University Board and the Faculties.
We are currently taking applications for two PhD Scholarship positions. Find out more here.
Interdisciplinary research means persons must "learn the language of many disciplines". The Young Academy Groningen plans to host several outreach events based their experiences as interdisciplinary PhD students and supervisors, to create awareness of the benefits and challenges of participating in interdisciplinary research projects. We will actively involve PhD students and members of the UG community and will post upcoming events on our website.
