Research Synergy

Research synergies are facilitated by regular research seminars which take place at a fixed date in the academic week. This programme can partly be built on already existing research seminar series in the faculty and beyond. Lectures are given by internal speakers and by invited national and international guests.

The Centre collaborates with other research seminars in the university:

Rudolf Agricola Seminar (interdisciplinary: Theology, Early Modern History and Early Modern/Medieval Languages and Literature: https://agricolaseminar.wordpress.com/)

CRASIS Ancient World Seminar (interdisciplinary: Theology, Ancient History and Classical Languages)

There is a regular, student-led seminar “rond de middag” where staff is asked to present their recent research

The Centrum voor Universiteits- en Wetenschapsgeschiedenis organizes regular lectures which provide an additional forum particularly for Theme Group III.
