America has Voted: Prof. Lars Rensmann publishes essay on US elections in German weekly “Jungle World”

In the German weekly “Jungle World”, Prof. Lars Rensmann contributed an article analyzing “Trumpism” and the 2020 US Presidential elections. He argues that Biden was able to mobilize a record turn-out to defeat the incumbent Donald Trump. Yet Trumpism is here to stay even after Trump’s clear electoral defeat and, he suggests, the Republican party continues to radicalize, following Trump’s conspiracy thinking and anti-democratic aspirations.
