Its compact, walkable city centre boasts centuries‑old architecture and the university’s Academy Hall as the inspiring backdrop for our conference. The University of Groningen, founded in 1614, is home to an internationally renowned humanities faculty and a diverse group of scholars working on French history, language, and culture.
