Are you planning to submit an NWO Vici proposal in 2019?

Researchers who have obtained their PhD within the last 15 years can apply for a Vici grant (N.b. see the website for information on extensions for parents etc.).

If you are interested, please discuss this with your line manager and contact the Faculty Funding Officer, m.stern rug.nl to arrange for attending this training.

Writing course: How to write a convincing Vici pre-proposal

Date: 31 January 2019, from 9.00 -17.00.

Topics:

  • writing a compelling title and scientific summary, a concrete knowledge utilisation section, and a competitive CV
  • understanding, engaging and convincing NWO panel members
  • organizing your critical support troops

Fee:  € 300 (including coffee, tea, lunch).

By agreement, an invoice will be sent to the HR department of your faculty.

The training is for participants who will submit their pre-proposal in the upcoming Vici round (March 2019). Participants should send a first version of their summary, title, cv and knowledge utilisation paragraph to the trainers 1 week before the training starts.

After registration, the Talent Development office will contact you to organize an intake interview with the trainers. This interview will take approximately 45 minutes and will be based on a Vici preparation form to be filled in by the participant.
