  • The first centre in the Netherlands for the study of European financial services law from a comparative and an interdisciplinary perspective in the broader context of the well-established legal disciplines (in particular, administrative law, private law, and EU law)
  • A broad range of expertise within the research team, including but not limited to European law, private law, administrative law, public administration, law and economics, socio-legal studies, philosophy, psychology, financial ethics
  • Part of the University of Groningen Investment Agenda 2015-2018 with the project 'Towards Sustainable Financial Practices'
