Dr. Wen Wu awarded FEBS booster Fund

The Federation of European Biochemical Societies has awarded Dr. Wen Wu, Assistant Professor at the Groningen Research Institute of Pharmacy (GRIP), the FEBS Booster Fund for early career researchers worth EUR 25,000.

This award will support dr. Wu's study on CRISPR-Cas nucleases, aimed at understanding their biochemical properties of these proteins to develop improved genome editing tools. This project will form part of a new research line that Dr. Wu will launch in 2026 at the University of Groningen.
