Tesfa Habtewold

Mr. Tesfa Dejenie Habtewold was born Yewello, Ethiopia on January 29, 1987. He studied Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Hawassa University and graduated since 2009. After two years of teaching as a graduate assistant at Debre Berhan University, he continued his master degree study. In July 2013, he has got his master degree in Adult Health Nursing from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He is also a registered Chief Adult Health Nurse. Since 2013, he has worked as a lecturer at Debre Berhan University, Ethiopia. Moreover, from 2015-2017, he studied a research master degree in Clinical and Psychosocial Epidemiology at the University of Groningen, Netherlands. He is keenly interested and highly motivated in the field of epidemiology and genetics of psychiatric and cardiometabolic disorders. Currently, he is a doctoral (PhD) student at Epidemiology Department, University Medical Center Groningen, University of Groningen, Netherlands. His PhD project entitled “Cognition, Diabetes and Functional Outcomes in Schizophrenia: A 6-year Follow-up Study”.
