New fully self-repairing recyclable and non-toxic plastic
Scientists of the Engineering and Technology institute Groningen have developed an alternative to epoxy resin that is able to repair itself when damaged. The material is also fully recyclable and contains no bisphenol A, a synthetic oestrogen that can disrupt the hormone system. October 17 Rodrigo Andrés Araya Hermosilla graduates on the development of this alternative.
