Approach: economics, game theory, modeling.


Prof Jepma is interested in the dynamics of energy markets and in the influence of policy and financing schemes, and regulation on trade and markets. He is also concerned with developing viable alternatives to oil as power source. Professor Jepma is scientific director of Energy Delta Gas Research (EDGaR) and chair of the Hansa Energy Corridor.

The impact of interaction between participants in the carbon capture and storage supply chain on its market potential, a PhD project pursued by Dominic Hauck, and supervised by Steven Brackman, Professor of International Economics, and by Professor Jepma. This project considers stakeholder analysis, using models from game theory, and is pursued in collaboration with RWE.

The CCS Value Chain and Incentive Systems, a project pursued by Arnold Mulder, under supervision of Jepma, and funded by CATO.
