Prof. S. Weishaar appointed at CUPL, Beijing

19 September 2018

Stefan E. Weishaar , Professor of Law and Economics at the Law Faculty, was appointed ‘Adjunct Professor’ at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). This honorary position bestowed upon him by Professor Xi Tao is formally recognized by the Chinese government and a result of several years of cooperation between Prof Weishaar and the School of Law and Economics at CUPL. The ceremony that was held this summer in Beijing was followed by an intensive 2 weeks course on Climate Change that professor Weishaar held for the students of CUPL.

The School of Law and Economics at CUPL is the only faculty of Law and Economics in China that has ius promovendi. The appointment of Prof. Weishaar will undoubtedly help in strengthening the good relationship already established between our two Universities and will create more possibilities for collaboration in the future.
