Jang J​in-sung, dissident and author of Dear Leader and currently guest professor at Leiden University, spoke on his life and work at Studium Generale. Prof. Jang spoke by invitation of the CEASG Director International Prof. Tjalling Halbertsma.

Prof. Jang was accompanied by his translator Ms. Sherley Lee and interviewed by Prof. Remco Breuker, translator of the Dutch edition of Dear Leader "Over de Grens: Mijn ontsnapping uit Noord-Korea (2015)".

Dr David Shim, affiliated to International Relations at the University of Groningen gave an introduction to the book.
