On Friday 13 January 2017 Globalisation Studies Groningen (GSG) and the Centre for East Asian Studies Groningen (CEASG) organized a New Year's Event, Welcoming three new Chairs:

  • Max van den Berg - Honorary Professor of Global Governance and Sustainable Livelihood
  • Jacques Zeelen - UNESCO Chair at Gulu in Lifelong Learning, Youth and Work
  • Oliver Moore - Chair in Chinese Language and Culture
