ICLaVE 2019
The following edition of the International Conference on Language Variation in Europe, ICLaVE 10, will be held in Leeuwarden/Ljouwert, the Netherlands, on 26–28 June 2019. ICLaVE is one of the most important fora for research in the area of language variation in Europe. It aims at bringing together scholars of languages or language varieties spoken in Europe with the purpose of discussing empirical, methodological and theoretical issues in the study of language variation and change. The CLCG is co-organising this conference with the Fryske Akademy.
Invited speakers for the conference are:
· Meredith Tamminga (University of Pennsylvania)
· Benedikt Szmrecsanyi (University of Leuven)
· Roeland van Hout (Radboud University Nijmegen)
· Arjen Versloot (University of Amsterdam)
Important dates for the conference are:
· 1 June 2018 - Call published for individual papers and posters
· 20 August 2018 - Deadline for panel submissions
· 20 October 2018 - Deadline for individual paper and poster submissions
· 15 January 2019 - Registration opens (early-bird rate)
· 1 April 2019 - Early-bird rate ends
· 26-28 June 2019 - ICLaVE10 Conference
