We have submitted!

Prof. Christoph Jedan - 15/02/2024

We can proudly announce that the Groningen team have submitted the EMDM application. Our special thanks go to Ana Fernandez-Alballí for keeping us all on the straight and narrow towards completion.

In the past months, we were asked by a lot of colleagues and stakeholders: “Why would you make this incredible effort of applying for European funding for a new MA?” Our answer is unequivocal: European funding is a game-changer. It would allow us to offer a programme that is maximally accessible for the best students from all over the world, irrespective of their socio-economic backgrounds. A programme that focuses on heritage, and works “with communities, for communities, and for the world” this accessibility is key. Also: we are envisaging a truly global programme, offering students a learning experience that spans European countries as well as two partner institutions from Latin American and India.
