Title:

Measuring the Impact of Blockchain on Healthcare Applications

Abstract:
Blockchain is a new innovative technology with potential for making ground breaking changes in social challenges, economics and healthcare. The global information technology scene is being overcrowded with blockchain applications, with special focus on the vast healthcare market . The value of information related to healthcare creates a clear path for applying this solution to the sector. The goal of applying blockchain technology to healthcare is to create a fare and transparent way for sharing information and patient data. Poor data integration creates a vast financial cost where blockchain has risen as solution to offer a safe and secure system.   With various applications, proposing blockchain solution to healthcare a complexity factor is introduced on how to implement blockchain based systems and what benefit they actually bring. With this work it is to focus on validation and trade-off specifications that are necessary to implement and run a blockchain network being a series of connected parties that communicate using this technology in healthcare applications. The main objective of an eHealth blockchain application is to learn and improve the optimal security practices in production, commercialization and organization of eHealth data.
