Dimitry Kochenov: 'Academics Should Take the Facts Reported by the Courts Seriously'

To our regret the reporting of facts in the academic journals is often biased, misrepresenting the plight of the asylum seekers and refugees from poorer countries. This short article reminds colleagues of the importance to take the facts of the court cases seriously, especially when immigration law is involved. A recent case note from the Common Market Law Review misinterpreting the facts in an unfortunate way by demonising the immigrants, is taken as an example.
