LLM in International Business Law

Programme requirements

In order to obtain an LLM degree in International Business Law a candidate must successfully complete a total of 60 ECTS:
a. Six compulsory courses:
-     Company Law (6 ECTS)
-     Competition Law (6 ECTS)
-     International Commercial Dispute Settlement Law (6 ECTS)
-     International Contracts Law (6 ECTS)
-     International Corporate Insolvency Law (6 ECTS)
-     Multi-level Labour Law and CSR (6 ECTS)
b. The seminar Corporate Governance (6 ECTS)
c. Master’s thesis (18 ECTS)

Programme structure

The programme consists of six courses (minimum), a seminar and the writing of a Master’s thesis. The programme requires one year, full-time to complete.

Exchange period in the first semester (Fall term), as exchange student:
-Company Law (6 ECTS)
- International Contracts Law (6 ECTS)
- Competition Law (6 ECTS)
- International Commercial Dispute Settlement Law (6 ECTS)
- Multi-level Labour Law and CSR (6 ECTS)

LLM completion in the second semester as registered regular LLM student (Winter/Spring term), after graduation at home university:
- International Corporate Insolvency Law (6 ECTS)
- Seminar Corporate Governance (6 ECTS)
- Master’s thesis (18 ECTS)

The LLM International Business Law is registered under the LLM CROHO label International Economic and Business Law (60604).
