The Critical View of the Preliminary Reference Procedures in the Context of EU Constitutionalism

By Prof. Morten Broberg, of the University of Copenhagen. The author of the legendary Broberg and Fenger's: "Preliminary References to the Court of Justice" published by Oxford in many editions and translated into a handful of languages

The lecture is given in the auspices of the seminar on the Constitutional Principles of the EU Market, convened by Professors D. Kochenov and J. Langer and is open to all the students and staff members.

Prof. Morten Broberg

Professor Morten Broberg is full Professor as well as Honorary Jean Monnet Professor at the University of Copenhagen. He has held visiting positions in Strasbourg (Université Robert Schuman), Munich (Max-Planck-Institute for Innovation and Competition), Oxford (DPIR) and Cambridge (Lauterpacht Centre and POLIS).

In 2014 Professor Broberg was awarded the Danish Elite-Researcher prize and in 2016 he was awarded the Carlsberg Foundation’s Research Prize.

Professor Broberg’s research is focused upon European Union law in general, as well as on the relations between the European Union and the developing countries.
