The University of Groningen will host the 6th edition of the Young Property Lawyers Forum (YPLF) from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 November 2015. The venue will be Het Kasteel, Melkweg 1, 9718 EP Groningen, The Netherlands.

The Young Property Lawyers Forum is an informal network of excellent junior property law researchers, both PhD candidates and those within 5 years of having obtained their doctorate. Past meetings were held in Edinburgh (2009), Maastricht (2011), Stellenbosch (2012), Leuven (2013), and Oxford (2014). The YPLF aims to bring outstanding property law scholars together from around the world and enable them to discuss their work with each other and with more experienced researchers. It provides an informal setting for young researchers to discuss innovative ideas and research in the area of property law, and to seek support in solving problems and improving their research, both in skills and in content. This year, 21 young researchers from 11 different jurisdictions will present their ideas and thoughts."

In addition to the presentations of young scholars, the practitioners Leon Hoppenbrouwers (Allen & Overy LLP, Amsterdam) and Annerie Ploumen (Van Doorne N.V., Amsterdam), civil law notaries, will give master classes about how property law is put into practice.

The proceedings will be open to all interested parties, scholars and practitioners alike. Please note that registration is required. Registration for the conference and accommodation is open.

If you have any queries, please send an e-mail to the organisers at yplf@rug.nl.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Groningen!
