Short Biography Dr. Špelca Mežnar

Špelca Mežnar is Assistant Professor of Commercial Law and Intellectual Property at the International School for Social and Business Studies, Slovenia. She is also a practicing Lawyer at Čeferin Law Office, Commercial Law Department, Grosuplje, Slovenia. She studied law at University of Ljubljana, University of Cambridge and Franklin Pierce Law Center. Previously she was a Marie Curie Research Fellow. She is currently participating in the FP7 Project “Tenancy Law and Housing Policy” led by Bremen University (ZERP). She has published articles on contract law, consumer protection, copyright and private international law. She is active as an arbitrator at Chamber for Commerce in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
