Short Biography Prof.Dr. Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell
Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell is currently Associate Professor of Commercial Law at University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain. J.D. and B.A. in Business Administration, (Award with Special Distinction, 1999). LLM in Private Law, 2001 and PhD. Doctor in Law, 2005, (Award with Special Distinction) . She lectures in English, Spanish and Italian in a number of prestigious universities: University of Reykjavík; University College of London; Abo Akademi; Paris II Pantheon Assass; Aarhus University; Örebro University; Sorbonne; Universidad de la República; Universidad de Buenos Aires; Università di Bologna. And she has been invited to give keynote speeches, invited talks and presentations in numerous international and domestic conferences and seminars. She provides international legal consultancy, acts as peer reviewer and evaluator and participates in pre-legislative processes. Vice-President of the International Expert Group on “New Technologies” (AIDA) and Deputy Vice-Chancellor on Cooperation Matters from 2008 to 2010 at her university. Visiting Scholar/Professor at Universities of Washington, Tulane, Arizona, Tokyo, London (UCL), Oxford, Marie Curie at ZERP, UNIDROIT. She is author of more than 40 publications.
