The curriculum of the Physics track Science, Business and Policy (SBP) consists of a first year with 30 ECTS of Physics courses, followed by a Master's Research Project of 30 ECTS. More information about the degree programme and its curriculum is available on the Student Portal.

Each student must follow the following courses during the first year in order to successfully complete the degree programme:
- 2 compulsory courses, as listed above;
- 4 optional courses, chosen from either the electives of Quantum Universe (QU) or the electives in Advanced Materials (AM), as listed in the optional courses below.

In case the student prefers to follow courses in another period, or to follow courses which are not listed below, he/she needs to ask permission, in advance, by the Board of Examiners.

The second year consists of SBP modules with two introductory courses of 10 ECTS, followed by a large internship of 40 ECTS.
