Omschrijving In this module, the following topics are dealt with: non-linear susceptibilities, anharmonic oscillator, wave propagation in non-linear media, wave mixing, time-dependent perturbation theory in quantum mechanics, second-harmonic generation, non-linear absorption, free-induction decay, photon echoes, power broadening, saturation, Rabi oscillation, Rabi side bands, local-field theory.
