Leerdoelen Upon completion of the course, the student is able to:
1. Give an overview of industrial sensors and explain their working principles
2. Deal with big data and fast data processing
3. Apply deep learning methodology methodologies on industrial processes
4. Design and application of methods for predictive maintenance based on industrial sensors and big data
Omschrijving In a smart factory, industrial sensors are used which are interoperable. The industrial sensors together form a complex system that produces large amounts of data. The data from these sensors is analysed using data analytics to predict when maintenance is needed.
In the course, first, an overview of industrial sensors is given. The course then continues to explain various methods of data analytics for predictive maintenance.
