Omschrijving | In this course advanced detector systems for the particle and nuclear physics are introduced to the students on examples of large-scale experiments. Selection of particular detector types for different subsystems of the experiment is followed by different readout architectures. Here the data-acquisition systems and concept of the “trigger” are discussed. This course treats as well post-processing of the acquired data and event filtering in on-line as well as off-line. |
