Omschrijving | This course is specifically tailored to students who intend to work in the field of science communication. As a science communicator you need to be able to understand, evaluate and critically discuss recent research from a scientific discipline that you might not be all too familiar with. In this course, we will study several research articles from various fields of research. At the end of this course, students will be able to examine sources from a discipline different from their own, and give an informed and critical opinion on recent developments in a poster presentation. Students will thus get to know the broad range of scientific disciplines, what characterizes each discipline and what methodologies are commonly used within the discipline. | ||||||||||||
