Omschrijving | This course builds on the course "Structure determination with spectroscopic methods" but extends the knowledge to additional spectroscopic techniques. Topics covered include, but are not limited to, advanced NMR, EPR, electronic and vibrational spectroscopies for molecular systems and molecular/non-molecular materials. Several concepts in approaching chemical analysis will be explored. The characterization of molecular and extended inorganic materials, in solid state and solution, using X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray and neutron scattering methods will also be discussed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
