Leerdoelen | At the end of the course, the student is able to: 1) analyze basic concepts and underlying mechanisms concerning Neurodegenerative diseases and to define research questions. 2) assess different research approaches using recent literature in the research field 3) integrate concepts concerning pathology, clinical and basic research on the etiology and molecular and cellular mechanisms with respect to the biological adaptive processes underlying neurodegenerative diseases. |

Omschrijving | During the course students will get lectures over the latest developments in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. They will be informed over the most important aspects of the disease development, pathology, molecular and cellular mechanisms, genetics behind and potential therapeutic strategies. They will have access to the latest literature and will get the opportunity to present a paper on an internal symposium. |
