Omschrijving | The Master's Project is an individual research project that is carried out under the supervision of examiners from the Master's Programme Biomedical Engineering. The project has to be conducted at a department affiliated with MSc programme Biomedical Engineering at UG/UMCG, or at a company affiliated with biomedical engineering. It is possible to conduct (a part of) the Master's Project abroad. The Master's Project preparation includes finding a project, writing a project proposal with a (detailed) time planning, (career) related workshops, presentation of the project proposal (winter symposium) and presentation of the results (summer symposium). For the Master's Project 30 ECTS is awarded if completed satisfactory. |

Entreevoorwaarden | At least 30 ECTS of courses of the curriculum of the MSc BME and the Internship (15 ECTS) need to be finalized (grade in Progress) to be able to start the project. | ||||||||||||||||
Opmerkingen | - All elements of the Master's project are mandatory - Participation and presentation of the summer and winter symposium is mandatory. - Final presentation at the department/company where the project is carried out is mandatory. - For the Master's project a repair (remediation) is possible if one of the sections of the Final Assessment is <5.5. This is to be decided by the Board of Examiners of Biomedical Engineering. |
