Omschrijving | General process equipment function (such as pipes, pumps, compressors, heat exchanger, tanks and vessels), type, design and operation will be elucidated during lectures in addition to the required self-study on the subjects. Weekly – personal and small group - assignment have to be executed to enhance equipment modelling and equipment design understanding. The engineering computer software Aspen will be introduced and course specific models will be used to enhance computer added equipment design and understanding. Students will during the course continuously work on assignments and two assignments have an entrée test on knowledge to be required upfront. Literature survey and engineering skills as part of the academic skills will be addressed. Nestor will be used for support during the module and modeling assistance will be available. | ||||||||||||||||
