Omschrijving | Design 2 is a follow-up course to Design 1. It trains students in structured problem-solving – more specifically the solving of biomedicine-related problems – by means of biomedical product development. To this end, students learn a methodology (the methodical design process) and apply it to a concrete case. The course will be concluded with a presentation of the designed product. Students work in teams under the supervision of a tutor. The lecturers and many guest lecturers will give lectures on topics that are relevant to the problem in question. The lectures center on materials selection, manufacturing methods, project management and ‘the practice of design’. | ||||||||||||
