Leerdoelen | On successful completion of this course, students will understand the relevance of social research, they will be able to design a research project, including the decision which (quantitative or qualitative) methods to use to address a research question. They understand the principles of data collection and how to analyse data. | ||||||||
Omschrijving | During this course students examine the research process from the formulation of a research question, the choice of methods and the use of the results. The course exists of 7 2-hour lectures, and 10 3-hour tutorials in August. Student will be given a take-home assignment. The mark on the assignment will form half of the final grade. A final written exam at the end of the course will make up the other half. |
