Omschrijving | All psychologists need to be able to communicate effectively with others, to interview them obtain information, or to build interpersonal relationships. This course introduces students to professional dialogue skills such as paraphrasing, summarizing, and reflecting feelings. Through role-playing, observation, and giving/receiving feedback, students learn to use basic communication skills. Further, students learn intercultural skills and learn how group dynamics affect functioning in groups. This is a practical course with mandatory attendance. Students will have weekly meetings in groups of 12 throughout the semester. Being prepared and being active in class is required. |
