Omschrijving | The main aim of educational organizations is to optimize student learning. In this course it is discussed how schools can be organized in such a way that the organizational structures, processes, and culture facilitate, support and monitor student and organizational learning. From an evidence-informed perspective, both characteristics of effective schools and school improvement processes are discussed. In the course seven topics will be discussed (e.g., internal quality control, teacher professional development, and school leadership). Students are asked to combine and evaluate the theories that are discussed. |
