Leerdoelen 1. Communicate basic information and ideas in oral Chinese commensurate with the aptitude level of HSK3 (LO e11);

2. Write correctly structured and linguistically correct short texts in Chinese (LO e15);

3. Process and explain information concerning contemporary Chinese language usage, its recent history and basic reference tools (LO e12, e13 & e14);

4. Use basic IT resources relevant to Chinese language learning (LO e16)
Omschrijving A teaching collaboration between respectively native and non-native speakers of Chinese ensures that students' enthusiasm and needs are driven by both 'insider' and 'outsider' experiences of acquiring/learning Chinese, and gaining relevant information concerning Chinese culture, systems and society. Building on students’ engagement with the previous year’s work (HSK levels 1-2), this course will develop their basic ability to speak Chinese in common real-life situations. On completing the course, interested students may also progress to examinations (HSK level 3) that award internationally recognized language certifcates, and/or apply to schemes for further language study in China.
