Omschrijving | The relationship between art and science is not easy, not relaxed. Art creates fictional spaces, science discovers facts. This course seeks to find a common ground between the two. Working in close connection with the University Museum, we explore the objects of both disciplines. We look and use artworks in a variety of media, anatomical models, scientific instruments and many other material objects. With these object we organize an exhibition at the University Museum, a great storehouse for both the history of art and science. The course invites both students from the sciences and the arts to join! |
