Leerdoelen Put your knowledge into practice in a challenging way and make an important contribution to SRRC’s new strategy. Furthermore, you will be working on your teamwork skills because you will be competing in a team against other teams and you will be challenged to use and improve your creative and strategic skills.
Omschrijving We will enroll all participants in teams of four students, and each team must include in its model:
• in which way their new business model will or can contribute to the local economic and local social development of the region
• In which way social media will be included in their model
Two teams must focus explicitly on new segments of which one needs to be the Youth
Two teams must focus on legacy, companies, and donations
Two teams must focus on the existing stream of visitor.

Knowledge the student will acquire:
Business models and new ways of increasing the revenues and number of visitors, Global value chain concepts , Strategy formulation, Regional Development

The activities the student will do:
• What: 6 weeks during the Business Challenge for FEB and Honours College student teams
• When : kick-off leadership lab is Saturday 31 October 9.30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Then every Monday from 5.30 –8.30 p.m.
• Where: FEB Careers Company and at the SRRC in Pieterburen (field visit)

to cooperate with people
to structure complex tasks
to make a clear analyses of a problem
