Leerdoelen | Upon completion of the course the student is able to: 1. Express, in a lucid and cogent manner, the main theoretical topics of basic International Trade Theory and Foreign Direct Investment. 2. Evaluate the relative strengths and weaknesses of the various theories at a basic level. 3. Explain the abstract principles at the heart of the theories to a “knowledgeable” audience, and describe their consequences for the application of the theories. 4. Reflect analytically on the theoretical issues dealt with during the course. 5. Describe the main occupational areas which (international) economics prepares one for. |
