Leerdoelen On successful completion of the course, the student should;
1. Reproduce and explain the different concepts and legal practice of international labour organizations and national states.
2. Analyse and solve problems of HRM incorporating legal aspects concerning international labour law in an integrative way and defend their solutions.
3. Critically reflect upon their own work and that of their peers.
4. Ability to operationalize the concept of sustainability and the social Sustainable Development Goals in the internal and external dimensions of a company.
Omschrijving International labour relations have increasingly assumed importance in a globalizing world. In order to manage labour relations, in this context, properly, it is necessary to take into account the impact of International Labour Law.
Basic information on existing rules and court decisions related to International Labour Law will be given.
Each student will be required to write and present a position paper (individually or in a group).
Students select a topic from a list composed by the lecturer. Corporate social responsibility, the freedom of movement of workers within the European Union and the posting of workers abroad, are some examples of possible topics.

(Attendance at lectures and presentations is compulsory. Written exam (60%) - Individual assignment (40%))
