Omschrijving Modern organizations are highly affected by the changes induced by technologies, especially information technology. The outcome of a technology-induced organizational change is the product of the interaction between individual adoption or resistance and usage of the technology and managerial strategy and governance for the technology. This compulsory course of MSc BA Change Management program focuses on a treatment of this multi-level issue and discusses how technology-induced changes can be cognitive, innovative, strategic, and under control. During the course, a general perspective on technological change is adopted first and an illustrative emphasis will be placed on the adoption, post-adoption, strategy and governance perspectives of information technology and the corresponding changes in organizations.
