Leerdoelen Upon completion of the course the student is able to:
1. analyze inventory management practices
2. apply inventory control models
3. design procedures to improve inventory management in practice
Omschrijving The course Inventory Management provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills to
analyze, improve, design and manage actual inventory systems. Topics that will be discussed
are demand forecasting, production/inventory and item characteristics, performance measures,
inventory control policies and policy improvement. In particular applying inventory control models
to improve the company performance will be important. Spread sheet modeling skills are essential.
