Omschrijving This course discusses the logic, challenges and consequences of spreading production processes over various locations. We approach this phenomenon from an International Economics and Business perspective. The course helps students to learn from research and develop a critical attitude towards academic papers. For this reason the course does not rely on textbooks, but solely uses academic papers. The course uses a macroeconomic perspective, dealing with the outcomes and drivers (trade, FDI) of this globalization process.
