Omschrijving | This course brings together the international economics and international business offered earlier in the curriculum. It helps students to learn from research and develop a critical attitude towards academic papers. For this reason the course does not rely on textbooks, but solely uses academic papers. The key topic of the course is the interaction between firms in general and multinational enterprises (MNEs) in particular and its economic environment, with a particular interest in the role of institutions and distance in MNE activity, FDI and trade. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
