Omschrijving | Data Mining and its Applications focuses on the application of data mining techniques to practical problems. The starting point is a large amount of data that needs to be analyzed and used to support practical decisions. Students learn how to explore and visualize empirical data and find patterns, using appropriate data mining techniques, in order to create useful information and/or input data to be used in models or methods to solve the practical problem. The assignments cover practical problems related to the design, planning & control, and improvement of various business processes and use cases. | ||||||||
