| Omschrijving |
Building on the first year module, this course unit continues the reflection on how “space” figures in historians’ work through region-specific topics. Each seminar covers historiographic problems, concepts, and debates pertinent to the history of one particular region. Exposed to a variety of historical subjects and scholarly traditions, students gain specialized knowledge on the region and develop a sensibility to the interplay between locality and methods. As such, it prepares students for the more advanced studies of cases in the third year module. |
