| Leerdoelen | 1. After the master thesis the student is able to formulate a problem definition based on secondary literature and work this out into one or more concrete research questions. 2. After the master thesis the student is able to write a research proposal in which both theoretical and methodological knowledge are used in an integrated way. 3. After the master thesis the student is able to choose the adequate research methodology and (data) analysis according to the research question. 4. After the master thesis the student is able to, in compliance with the guidelines for research ethics, set up and conduct the research according to a plan and within an agreed timescale. 5. After the master thesis the student is able to the student can critically reflect on research questions, methodological issues and research results 6. After the master thesis the student is able to the student can present his/her own research in a clear and convincing way both on paper (research report/thesis) and orally 7. | Omschrijving | In het afstudeeronderzoek worden de kennis en vaardigheden die de student in de opleiding verwerft en ontwikkelt, geïntegreerd. Het algemene leerdoel van het afstudeerproject is het zelfstandig kunnen opzetten en uitvoeren van en rapporteren over een wetenschappelijk onderzoek. Van de student wordt daarbij verwacht dat hij/zij kritisch kan reflecteren op vraagstellingen, methodologische kwesties en onderzoeksresultaten. In de these laat de student zien dat hij/zij een consistent betoog kan formuleren, met helder onderscheid tussen hoofd- en bijzaken, en duidelijk de eigen bevindingen kan presenteren en hierop kan reflecteren. | ||||||||
