- These listed optional modules (electives) are available, under certain conditions, as electives in the Top Master Nanoscience. The courses are taught as part of the regular Master's programmes in (applied) physics, chemistry and related programmes.
- Surfaces and Interfaces is not available anymore for this cohort of students.
Important:
- The chosen electives should together comprise at least 15 ECTS, split over the first and second year.

Other courses from other Masterprogrammes can also be chosen as electives, provided the mentor and the Board of Examiners agree with the choice. For more information to choose electives, see:

PLEASE NOTE THAT PHYSICS OF LASERS (WMPH027-05) IS NOW SCHEDULED IN 2A in 2020-2021, BUT THIS COURSE WILL MOVE TO 1B in 2021-2022!

For students who started in 2019-2020 or before:
- These listed optional modules (electives) are available, under certain conditions, as electives in the Top Master Nanoscience. The courses are taught as part of the regular Master's programmes in (applied) physics, chemistry and related programmes. However, for inclusion in the Top Master Programme in Nanoscience, they have been assigned a different credit value (in ECTS).
Important:
- The chosen electives should together comprise at least 14 ECTS, split over the first and second year.
- The here listed electives are assigned 4 in stead of 5 ECTS except Surfaces and Interfaces, that one is assigned 3 in stead of 5 ECTS.
